Let's be honest folks- If you are silver and trying to get to gold- then you have a lot to learn about League. When I climbed from Bronze to Gold over 2 seasons (Season 10 to Season 11)- I didn't even realize how much I didn't know about this game, and it hurt me in Season 12 trying to climb back from Silver to Gold. Thankfully, you don't have to make my mistakes- Virkayu's course identifies the common mistakes/lack of knowledge that plagues Silver junglers, lays it out in the open and gives you condensed, actionable steps to fix those issues- and as a Gold jungler, I guarantee if you work on what this course lays out you will get to gold! This course also sets you up for further climbing because Virkayu is teaching you the pillars of jungling, which are just as important for silver junglers as it is to challenger junglers as it is to the jungle pros like Canyon. Don't be like I was and let ego/lack of knowledge hold you back- climb to Gold with this course and set yourself up for further climbing success past Gold!
As of writing this review I've reached Gold 3 from a start point of Bronze 1 (Season 13) with about a month of playtime. I've been hovering around the Virkayu community since 2019, using his teaching for just surface level knowledge of the jungle at the time. When I came back to League in 2023 after a 2 year break, I decided that I wanted to finally play ranked to see how far I can get.
For context I have previous experience in Dota 2, so I'm not new to MOBAs. I also main Warwick, who can be considered a non-meta mid-low tier jungler.
The course gave me more than enough starting knowledge to upstart my thinking on how the jungle actually works. Unlike guide hubs like 'SkillCapped' that just tell you strategies and META changes in the jungle, this course teaches me how to THINK and IMPROVE as a jungler. It gave me resources to develop myself as a player which can be built upon not only for the rank this course is intended for, but also moving ahead to higher ranks.
The course itself is set up like a college course, even with how silly that sounds it is meant to teach you several fundamentals and concepts.
Its quite evident that creator, Mr.Virkayu, puts heaps of effort into his content to set you up for success. This course is no exception to that, I would highly recommend this if you do want to start improving.
